I can't believe it's been seven years....

Dear Sweet BabyGirl,

I can't believe how time flies...it seems like only yesterday I was welcoming you into my arms and into this world. I will never forget that day. It was the best day of my life. It was the day I realized what it's like to truly be alive. It was the day I KNEW what love is. Before you came along I was only drifting along through life taking things as they came. Then, my eyes were opened and I saw your sweet face for the first time.

You have been the most wonderful blessing we have ever known. We treasure each second we spend with you. It's so amazing to watch you grow. You have been a wondrous sight to see! An intelligent, self-aware and incredibly talented little girl from the minute you were born.

You have the most amazing mind to me. You have always come up with things that I can't even imagine coming from someone your age. Your wondrous thoughts delight me and I know you will achieve great things. You are a beautiful dreamer. Never lose that. You can do anything. All of your wishes can come true. You can do anything.

You have always been so responsible and sensitive. Even as a toddler you amazed us with your ability to appear so much older than you were. Now, as a young lady we get to see that in you as a big sissy. You just have a natural ability with your little brother to know what he needs. You can read his coos, facial expressions and body language just as well as your father and I can. You can comfort him and make him smile. You are the best big sister anyone could ever even wish for. And, your brother is the luckiest little boy in the world to have you. You are such a gift.
As I look at you now, I am seeing the most beautiful and amazing little girl in the world. I can't wait to see what the next seven years bring. I am so thankful to be your mommy, to get the opportunity to stay home and educate your brilliant mind, and hold you close to me forever. Stay just the way you are, and you will live the life we all dream of.

Love, Your Mommy xo
