We just had our fall break last week, and it was a blast! Grandma The Great and Pappap The Great came all the way from Branson for a visit. BabyGirl loves these times like no other. She LOVES her "Great" Times and looks forward to them every year! They were able to stay the night with us one night. It was wonderful to be able to visit, play games, introduce them to a "bigger" Little Man (who didn't cry, by the way, when they held him) and share some wonderful memories. I feel so blessed that both of my children are able to know my grandparents the way I do. They are truly the most amazing people you will ever meet. I treasure each moment we get to spend together. Here are some of the highlights....

Here are some other things we've been up to lately......
BabyGirl got the movie "Tinkerbell and The Great Fairy Rescue" from her good dog friends Jenna and Josh. After watching it, she was inspired to create her own fairy house. We left it outside, and overnight a shiney silver thimble appeared inside!! She was so excited!!! There is even writing inside the house on the walls. She drew paintings and wrote "Home Sweet Home"
We went to the fair with Daddy and Bub. It was fun, but I didn't take many picks. Here are the 2 I do have. One is of BabyGirl in front of the Halloween scene made entirely of cakes. The other one is of BabyGirl and Daddy chillaxin' in a porch swing we'd love to have!!
Here is some sweet sibling love. xo :)
Here is a beautiful rainbow we saw yesterday. It came at the perfect time for me. I was in a mad rush, trying to get home, stressing out about dinner.....then, looked up and saw this.
We went to the pumpkin patch today. It was the most gorgeous day to go!! The sun was shining, it was the perfect temperature. It was awesome! Little Man LOVED his first visit to the patch. He touched the hay, played with the pumpkins and totally enjoyed the hay ride. He stood up, bounced, laughed and squealed while the tractor pulled us along. BabyGirl had so much fun with her friends. It was a priceless day. Here are some great pics....

Here is the song "Whipoorwill" by BabyGirl. This one is dedicated to Grandma The Great
Here is BabyGirl performing "Mana Zucca" correctly for the 2nd time! She was so excited after she played it through the first time that she had to have me record it. This song uses both hands at the same time, and also requires moving your hands around on the piano during the song. This is the first time she has done both together on the same song correctly. Since this was taken, she has gotten much better at it and loves practicing it daily. (sometimes all day!) But, I will always treasure this particular performance because it marks the beginning of a beautiful new era. Enjoy.
This week we have resumed Joneschooling. We are currently studying Ancient China for our History/Geography and extreme weather for science. I learned that it is good to request lots of stuff from the library. However, it may be difficult when all 71 items come in at the same time (really, how often does THAT happen??) trying to check them all out, sack them AND hold the baby! Thankfully, we have the most wonderful librarians in the world at our particular branch. They saved my morning!!!
So, we will update on school later next week. Hope you enjoyed our fun picture post!! 'Til next time....

I love the library! They really do have the best librarians. So patient, every time! I hated missing the pumpkin patch today; it looks like you all had a blast. I love that your kids get to know their great-grandparents, too. My kids love their great-grandmas who are still around (they barely know their only living great-grandpa). I love such memories and sweet photos!
