The Jones Family Christmas 2010

We were blessed with a beautiful Christmas this year.  Everyone was healthy (despite Little Man having croup and ear infections 4 days before), happy, warm and full of food.  We spent it with the ones we love most.  Everyone who was traveling arrived safely.  You just couldn't ask for a better Christmas.

Here is a picture post taking you through our holiday.  There are a LOT of pictures here.  But, there could be more.  I realized when I uploaded everything I missed out on taking more pics of Bubs, Great Great Great Auntie, and many more.  When Little Man was born I decided that I would spend less time behind the camera and more time in the moment.  (yes, there are millions of pics of BabyGirl growing!)  So, that being said, here are some pictures taking you through our holiday.  The rest of the memories reside in our hearts :)  One of my very favorite memories is the one of Little Man and the way he danced his little heart out whenever he heard "Run Run Rudolph" by Chuck Berry or "Santa Claus is Comin to Town" by Bruce Springstein.  He is jamming to them now while I write this post :)

Here is Nanny and BabyGirl at her Winter Concert.  She did so well!!!  I started to take a video with my camera, but Little Man started squealing and trying to steal it.

Here is Little Man pushing his car back and forth through the living room, his most favorite thing to do!!!  (besides walk using mommy's fingers)
Here is BabyGirl's completed gingerbread neighborhood, complete with her 4 houses and hospital.
Here it is with her residents.
Here are all 3 neighborhoods connected, making our village.
Some yummy yogurt streusel bread.
The gingerbread houses under BabyGirl's tree.
They really make beautiful decorations!
BabyGirl and her cousin in their new faux fur leopard print coats from Papa!!!  So cute!!!

YUMMY!!!!
BabyGirl making her annual tradition of Jello Jigglers!
It occurred to me while she was making them the evolution that has happened.  She went from me making them with her in the backpack, to her making them sitting on the counter, to her standing on her tippie toes on her step stool, to this......   I cannot believe how she is growing.  I love her so much.
My Little Man in his "Levi's First Christmas" shirt make by Auntie Tara.
 BabyGirl and cousin Soph.
 Little Man checking out Snoopy.
Me, Little Man and Bub.

BabyGirl and Felicity, she has a matching hat!
Little Man and his steering wheel toy!!!  He loves it!

Little Man took his very first un-assisted steps on Christmas night!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you, Santa for bringing us all we wanted this year.  A healthy, happy, beautiful bunch of babies.
In closing....here are some funny pics made by Mimi!!!

So, there you have it.  It was such a wonderful Christmas.  I know it will only get better each year.  I always find myself a little sad on Christmas night when I realize the radio will be back to playing the best of the 80s, 90s and today when I wake up in the morning.  I love the holidays.  Everything about them.  The feeling in the air, the love, the cold weather, the lights, the decorations.  I told Bo I could totally live in Christmas, MO and just leave it all up year-round.  I know he secretly agrees.  :)  I look forward to a great year in 2011.  I will strive for health, happiness, strength and wisdom.  I hope to bring my kids up in the way I am meant to.  I plan on teaching them and raising them with everything I have and more.  I wish for my Bo to have some of his dreams come true so he can stay home with us more.  And, I pray for my Nan and Bubs to have miraculous new beginnings on the horizon.  I pray they are blessed with everything they deserve and more.  I look forward to meeting a new healthy baby this summer from Auntie Tara.  (squee!)  I pray my Daddy lands the best job of his life and can retire before he even planned to.  I want to see the world through my children's eyes, laugh so hard I cry every single day, let me kids just be kids, invent some awesome new recipes, let the small stuff go, plan a family vacation,  love without restriction and with all I have, make my kids smile, and just live the life I dream of.  I cannot wait to make 2011 the best year yet.  Love, Elisabeth
