Day 20

Today we made Christmas sugar cookies!!!!!!!  This has been a holiday tradition in our family forever.  We save a few of our very favorite ones for Santa to have on Christmas Eve.  Here is Little Man working on rolling out his dough....
Cutting out shapes.....
Here are all the ones Little Man made before they were frosted.

Now, here is BabyGirl rolling out her dough....
Cutting out shapes....
All ready for frosting!!!

Little Man loved putting LOTS of frosting on each one!!!  Any that got on his hands he had permission to lick off.  I am sure you know how that turned out.

BabyGirl enjoyed using an icing dispenser that Grandma The Great sent us.....

Look how beautiful they look!!!!!!!!  I am quite sure that if an ice storm does develop overnight that makes us lose electricity....we can be sustained for quite some time on all these cookies!!

Since BabyGirl had Open Concert last night she was unable to attend the Trans-Siberian Orchestra performance.  This is the fourth year in a row that these concerts have been on the same night...what kind of luck is that??  Anyway, it was their last Lost Christmas Eve performance....her very favorite.  Our Uncle Ken and Aunt Kathy went last night....and picked up this!!  A program with the CD!!!!!!!!  She was thrilled and ran several laps after discovering the CD in the back of the program!!!!!!!!!!!

Nanny brought her a special surprise to recognize all her hard work...a pack of paint brush pens!  She has been looking at these for months!

Last, but not least, Little Man is so thrilled about his new PJs that he wanted to show them offf!!!!!!  Nothing quite like dinosaur bones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, time is surely flying by.  We have some really great things planned for the next five days.  There is nothing more important than family, love, making memories, happiness and time together.  One of the best things about today....it marks the first day of Daddy's Christmas Vacation!!!!!!!  Hip hip hooray it's Christmas vacation!!!!!!!!  Fa la la la la and ho ho ho...........
